BMW'S ARE HERE!
In February we added BMW motorcycles to our existing lineup of bikes by Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki. Since then we have been really pleased with the steady stream of local (and non-local) BMW fans coming in and checking out our store. We've sold several BMW's already and are well on our way to becoming established in this line. We also carry a good selection of BMW apparel. One of our most experienced technicians has already received several weeks of hands on training from BMW and is certified. He is scheduled to reach the Master certification level by year end with fully up-to-date knowledge on all the latest products from BMW. When we bought the store back in 2003, I owned a K1200LT, so its fun to finally get the chance to sell these quality German bikes.
From the Totally Random Department: I was helping with the detailing on a used cruiser we just took in yesterday on trade. There was the dreaded melted-on boot heel black rubber on the muffler in a couple locations, and the usual methods weren't working (as usual). On a hunch I tried rubbing some of my wife's fingernail polish remover on the spots and they came right off with very little effort. I wish I'd known this little trick years ago. So there you go. BTW, fingernail polish remover is mostly acetone, if you'd rather buy something a bit more manly for your shop.

Let's get started!
After some procrastination on my part, I finally have my blog up and running! I'd like to start out by thanking all our valuable customers over the past several years since Carolyn and I bought Westside Motorsports in April, 2003. We want to continue to provide you with excellent products and service in the years to come.
Our latest marketing development is the introduction of our new slogan, "You Belong here!" This represents our desire to make every customer feel comfortable, welcome, and familiar at our store. We want to be the kind of dealership where you return often just to visit with our employees (whom you know by first name) and look at whatever's new, because you feel like you are "part of the club". You belong here!
